Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery.
just had this little number. Last Tuesday to be exact and today had the stents out - an extraordinary sensation to be able to breathe freely.
Of course aftet eh morpine wear off, it's unpleasant - mostly like a bad head cold, stuufy nose and the fact you can't blow it until after the stents have been removed a week after the operation.
It's a work in progress; still a little pain and discomfort, but I am quietly confident my outlook on life will improve with the nosec.

- I grew up in Brisbane, Qld. Attended both the local primary and secondary schools. I left school in 1968 and began an Sheetmetal Working apprenticeship. After working at my trade, for a few years, I decided I wanted to pursue music. I studied part-time and entered the Queensland Conservatorium as a student ,where my major instrument was classical guitar. To cut a long story short, I eventually ended up in the library world. Still working as a librarian, although I continue to be a frustrated musician.
